Exchange FAQ
Fees, valuations and what you can see before making an offer.
Ask us a questionDeimann Exchange is a marketplace for buying and selling digital businesses, operated by Deimann Com GmbH in Hamburg. It brings together business listings, a free valuation for sellers and private exposés for buyers. A person reviews each valuation and buyer request.
Browse the businessesDeimann Exchange covers online shops, directories, content sites, tools, software and services with an online business model. Established businesses with customers and revenue can fit, as can younger projects with users and measurable traction. A listing marked “Reference · not for sale” is a sample, not an available business.
How buying worksThe seller pays 10% of the purchase price only when the sale closes. There are no fixed costs or listing fees. The valuation, listing proposal and sales strategy are included. If no sale closes, no success fee is due. The brokerage agreement sets out the payment terms before a third-party listing goes live.
Read the selling termsSubmit the business name or domain, its age, audience, revenue if any, and running costs. No account is needed. A person replies within two working days with a value range, the reasoning and a recommendation: list openly, sell discreetly or wait. The valuation is an estimate based on experience and data, not a formal appraisal.
Request a free valuationNo. The valuation is free even if you decide to keep the business or wait. Sending your figures does not create a public listing. You decide whether to take the next step.
Buyers pay no fee to browse listings, request an exposé or send an enquiry. The seller pays the success fee at closing.
Open the listing and request its exposé. Include your name, email and why you are interested in the business. A person reviews the request. If it fits, you receive a personal link within two working days that opens the available metrics and financial information. Access can expire or be revoked.
Find a business and request its exposéSearch performance comes from Google Search Console and audience behaviour from Microsoft Clarity, where those sources are connected. The exposé identifies the source and reporting period. Revenue and running costs are provided by the seller; they are not independently verified financial statements.
No. Public listing pages explain which information is available without displaying the figures. Metrics and financial information are shown only after an exposé request has been approved. Valuation submissions are treated as confidential, and you can ask for your submitted details to be deleted.
Yes. The free valuation is open to owners outside the Deimann portfolio. A third-party listing can go live once the brokerage agreement is in place. The seller is named on each listing. If Deimann Com GmbH wants to buy a listed business itself, other buyers get a priority window first and that interest is disclosed.
